I am excited to offer my first in-person Loctician Training course to you! If you are feeling the call to do something different with your life, and you already have or are interested in dreadlocks, this could be the opportunity for you.

I have been working with dreadlocks for 5 years and I have an established and profitable business. I have extensive, professional training myself and I have created my own method drawing on what I have learnt and what has worked for my clients over the years.
​
There are many myths and stigmas attached to dreadlocks! My methods and intentions are to create stunning transformational hair for my clients that defies the negative, outdated associations of dirty, messy hair. I will teach you how to create beautiful dreadlocks while holding and supporting your clients through a transformational process.

This is more than just a practical, hands on course in how to learn one skill. Working with clients in this way creates deep, energetic connection. This course includes personal and business development, and guidance on how to look after both yours and your client's energy.

Why Learn How to Make Dreadlocks?
Learning how to create dreadlocks to a professional standard gives you a skill that you can utilise into a full or part time job, or as a side hustle. Great! But what if it goes much much deeper than that? What if you could transform your life by offering this unique and specialist service to the world?

Maybe you have dreadlocks already. You know that taking that step is more than just changing your hairstyle. It's about showing up more authentically in the world. It's learning to live and make decisions according to your Inner Self, without seeking approval or fearing judgement from those around you. It's the beginning, or the continuation of, a journey into deeper Self-discovery, Self-acceptance and Self-awareness.

As a loctician, you are in a position to facilitate this deep change for your clients. It is an opportunity to hold and guide them through the process of transformation. For a client, taking this step can be intimidating as well as exciting, and it is your responsibility as a loctician to offer them all that you can to make the journey as incredible as possible.

Taking your own journey to becoming a loctician offers you the opportunity to transform your life too. You can take ownership of your working hours, location, income and energy levels. You get to decide how, when and where you show up in the world and what you want to offer. It gives you freedom on so many levels.
The Loctician Journey
Sounds amazing so far? It is! My life has changed beyond recognition since I embarked on this journey into the world of dreadlocks in 2017. I would love to offer you the opportunity to walk your own path into this world.

As a loctician you will be self-employed, and with that alone comes hard work! There are many skills to learn and to perfect, along with personal and professional development, trial and error, highs and lows. I will offer you my experience, my methods, my support and my guidance along this journey. You will need to invest your energy and commitment to learn the skills, and to grow and evolve as necessary to create and build the life, business and freedom that you desire!
The Training
My Loctician Training will begin with 4 days of in-person training, held over 2 weekends. You will be required to attend all 4 days. There will be homework to complete in between the weekends, and after the training has been completed. This is designed to give you the basis of the skills you will need to be able to offer a professional loctician service. You will be required to complete models after the training in order to practise, perfect and demonstrate that you can work to a professional standard.
Day 1
Will include a mixture of introductions, sharing of personal journies, expectations, vision and goal setting. Starting the dive into what it means to work as a loctician.
Practical work - dreadlock creation demonstration. Learn the techniques to create dreadlocks and practise on your individual doll heads (provided for you).
Day 2
Preparing to work on a client. Practise dreadlock maintenance on a live model!

Plenty of discussion, question and answers, and preparing for homework challenges.
4 week break for you to complete homework and challenges. Complete dreadlocks on your doll head and start to work through personal development challenges in your workbooks.
Day 3
Coaching and preparation for client work. Discussing and working through fears and limiting beliefs.
​
Practical work - Dreadlock extensions with human hair demonstration. Practise and complete dreadlock extensions on a live model together.
Day 4
Finish dreadlock extension client. Practise taking photographs which you can use to promote your work.
​
Close - questions, discussion, models and follow up work explained.
Ongoing support, coaching and assessment of models available.

Certification Requirements:
​
Attendance of all 4 in-person training days
Complete doll-head
​
Complete work to required standard on live models that you will find yourself:
​
2 full heads of natural dreadlocks on minimum shoulder length hair
2 full heads of dreadlock maintenance
2 full heads of dreadlocks with human hair extensions
​
Evidence that you have completed the workbooks with personal and professional development practices
The Investment
This course is my first loctician training course, so I am offering it at a reduced rate compared to future courses. However, I strongly believe that high-quality training and coaching is an investment that should be taken seriously. With the skills I am offering, you will have everything that you need to grow and develop a profitable business. The investment in the course can be easily made back in earnings if you take it seriously and show up to do the work.
